About the Warhawks
Before the weekend against Valdosta State, the Warhawks had only lost back-to-back games twice over the last two seasons. The Orange & Black will look to bounce back in style against rivals Tuskegee and Montevallo.

Junior pitcher Cydney Sizemore has been one of the Warhawks' best pitchers through 12 games this season. Sizemore threw three scoreless innings over the weekend against nationally ranked Valdosta State, and has yet to allow a run all season.

Molly Cobb continues to shine at the plate for the Orange & Black in her first season at AUM. Cobb ranks first among all freshman in the Gulf South Conference in hitting with a .500 avg. After slugging three extra base hits including a home run, Cobb has three big flies and 12 RBIs in 2020.

Stolen bases continue to be a staple of the Warhawk offense. Allie Miller, Parker Pinholster, and Olivia Aycock have all tallied at least nine steals this season, contributing to the team's 44 steal overall which places them second behind Montevallo in the GSC.

The Warhawks have already matched up with the Golden Tigers once this season in the season opener in Gulf Shores, Ala. AUM took care of business against Tuskegee, winning 9-0 thanks to a two-RBI day from Abby Krueger and Hannah Dailey.

Scouting the competition
Tuskegee, after falling to the Warhawks in the season-opener, has gone 6-2 prior to the rematch with the Orange & Black. Tuskegee has won their last five games, most recently defeating Bowie State 11-7.

Montevallo has had an impressive start to the 2020 Gulf South Conference slate. The Falcons took two of three from nationally ranked West Florida and West Georgia to open league play.

Haley Barnette is Montevallo's leader in hitting so far in 2020. The senior is hitting .400 through 15 games this season and has yanked three home runs and nine RBIs.
