MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 home non-conference contest to top-ranked Columbus State on Sunday afternoon.
The Warhawks drop to 1-3 on the year after the loss to Columbus State, while the Cougars improve to 2-0 on the young 2021 season.
"Today was didn't play good enough in doubles play against the top team in the nation," said head coach
Yair Banuelos. "We performed better in singles, getting close matches in every spot, but we need to play more clutch at this level. Rieme played really well and got a solid win today."
