MONTGOMERY, Ala. – After moving up two spots in the national polls to No. 23, the Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team defeated Gulf South Conference foe Lee University 5-2 at the AUM Tennis Complex.

Tonja Foessmeier, and
Julia Enderink were all honored before the match as a part of the senior day festivities. The win for AUM improves the women's team to 8-5 in 2021, with a 5-3 record inside the Gulf South.
The Warhawks set the tone early with two wins in doubles play to take the early lead over the Lady Flames. Lee made a late comeback in singles play but wins from
Alba De La Torre, and Enderink clinched the 5-2 victory for AUM.

The Warhawks will conclude the 2021 season with two Gulf South Conference matches in Mississippi. AUM will square off against Delta State on Friday before finishing the regular season against Mississippi College on Saturday.
