CLINTON, Miss. – The No. 23-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team dropped their second-straight match in as many days, falling 3-4 to Gulf South Conference foe Mississippi College on the road Saturday morning.
The Warhawks finish their 2021 regular season schedule with a 9-6 record with a 6-4 mark inside GSC action. The seeding for the upcoming GSC Championships is still to be determined.
AUM jumped out of the gate strong against the Lady Choctaws, winning in the third and second doubles courts to take the early lead over Mississippi College. However, AUM would fall behind in singles play and would not be able to recover, falling 4-3.
