MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The No. 25-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team defeated Gulf South Conference rival Montevallo on the road on Wednesday afternoon 6-1 to get back into the win column after losing two straight.
The nationally-ranked Warhawks improve their record to 7-5 on the year and raise their Gulf South record to 4-3. Montevallo has now dropped their last six matches and fall to 3-9 with a 1-5 mark in conference action.
AUM has relied on their doubles play all season long, and it came through early, setting the tone for the rest of the match. With the first two courts split between the two teams,

Sofia Mustre won in the third court to secure the doubles point.
