MOBILE, Ala. -- Second-half goals from Milian Mollison and Julia Simoes, combined with a pair of second-half saves from goalkeeper Karla Gaytan, sent the Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Spring Hill College on Sunday afternoon.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Hill found the first goal 23 minutes into the match when Hanna Einarsdottir slotted a pass from Cecilia Light into the back of the net to give the Badgers a 1-0 lead.
- The half ended 1-0 in favor of Spring Hill as the Badgers out-shot the Warhawks 4-2.
- AUM set the tone early in the second half when Milian Mollison took a pass from Maggie Flanagan and scored the equalizer in the 48th minute.
- Minutes later, Gaytan, starting the second half, fended off a Spring Hill shot to keep the game tied 1-1.
- Pressing late into the match, it was the Warhawks who stole the lead.
- In the 83rd minute, Julia Simoes tallied her second goal of the season, off a Mayson Jaindl assist, as the Warhawks pressed in front 2-1.
- Spring Hill's best chance to try to tie the game was denied by Gaytan in the 87th minute to preserve the victory.
STATS OF THE GAME
- Both of AUM's goals were scored by players that came off the bench in the match.
- Karla Gaytan appeared in her second straight match and earned the win between the posts. Gaytan made four saves and gave up one goal in the second half against West Florida on Friday and tallied two saves against Spring Hill while keeping the Badgers off the scoreboard in Sunday's second half.
