MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The University of West Alabama used three unanswered goals, including two in the second half, to steal a 3-2 win over the Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team on Friday night in Gulf South Conference action.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Michaelyn Manning sparked the Warhawks early with a goal in the 18th minute to put AUM up 1-0.
- Manning settled a pass from Maggie Flanagan and drilled a shot toward the left of goal that caromed off the post and swished the back of the net.
- Roughly 10 minutes later, Milian Mollison added another goal for the home team.
- Mollison punched home a pass from Mayson Jaindl to put AUM on top 2-0.
- The Tigers found a goal just before the half, but the Warhawks held a 2-1 lead at the break.
- Goals in the 69th minute (from Aileen Charles) and 80th minute (Selis Demirici) helped West Alabama sneak past the Warhawks in the late stages of the game.
- UWA moved into a tie for second place in the GSC standings with the road win.
STATS OF THE GAME
- Mollison scored a goal for the second consecutive contest with her 29th-minute goal.
- Manning's goal was the first of the season for the second-year Warhawk.
- Flanagan also posted an assist for the second game in a row. She ranks second on the team in that category with three total.
- Jaindl tallied an assist for the second straight game, marking the seventh time this season in 10 games that she has registered at least one point in a match.
