MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team battled to a scoreless draw on a windy Sunday afternoon at the AUM Soccer Complex.
Each side created double-digit chances, as the University of Alabama Huntsville totaled 11 shots while AUM tallied 10, but nobody was able to find a goal as both teams walked away with a hard-fought point in the Gulf South Conference standings.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Both teams played the opening 45 minutes of the contest to a scoreless draw.
- In an even display on the scoresheet from the first half, Alabama Huntsville had six shots to AUM's five. Andrea Wright made a trio of saves in the first half in goal for the Chargers, while Karla Gaytan made two for the Warhawks.
- An even second half saw nearly identical stat lines from the Chargers and Warhawks.
- Each team registered five shots in the second half, but only one required a save.
- Gaytan saved a Morgan Snyder shot on frame in the 73rd minute to help keep the Chargers off the scoreboard.
- AUM managed three shots in the game's final seven minutes but was unable to find a game-winning goal.
- The tie marked the first draw of the season for the Warhawks.

"It was a good battle between both teams, and I am happy with the fact that we kept a clean sheet and fought very hard defensively in today's game," said head coach
Julianne Herrity. "Offensively, we just were not clinical enough in front of goal to be able to capitalize on the chances we created."
UP NEXT
The Warhawks return to Clinton, Miss. to resume a postponed match from earlier in the season against Mississippi College. AUM and MC will resume the game with the Choctaws leading 1-0 in the 22nd minute at Robert P. Longabaugh Field.
