MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team fought back from a 15-point deficit to give themselves a late game-tying look, but a three-point attempt from the right corner fell off the basket as the University of West Georgia held on for a 63-60 win over the Warhawks.

Gilbert Croley tallied a new career-high for the Warhawks with 16 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists. Forward
James Graham added 13 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Wolves jumped out to a quick four-point advantage, but the Warhawks responded with a James Graham layup and a Sam Youngblood three-pointer to take a 15-14 lead at the first-half under-12 media timeout.
- West Georgia answered, however, with a 21-5 run to the 5:39 mark of the first half.
- Gilbert Croley posted a driving basket late in the first half and knocked down the ensuing free throw to cap a three-point play and trim the Wolves' lead to 37-27 at halftime.
- AUM used an 11-6 burst to cut the lead to five, 43-38, with 14:26 to play.
- The Wolves responded with a run of baskets in the paint to push the lead back out to three possessions, but the Warhawks responded.
- The Warhawks rattled off 11 of the next 15 points in the game, capped by a Jalen Gaston jumper to pull within one, 61-60, with 1:39 left.
- Camron Donatlan hit a driving layup as UWG went up 63-60 and the Warhawks had a late look at a game-tying basket, but Youngblood's three-point try fell off the mark.
NOTABLES
- Croley earned his new career-high of 16 points knocking down seven of his eight field goal attempts.
- AUM out-rebounded its opponent for the seventh time this season, as they held a 47-32 advantage on the glass.
- Graham posted his third double-digit rebound game of the season and his second double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- Graham also added to his league-leading blocks tally as he totaled five rejections against the Wolves. Graham leads the GSC with 24 blocks and the Warhawks lead the GSC at 4.3 blocks per game.
- Donatlan posted 23 points to lead all scorers. Michael Zabetakis added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
