MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 23rd-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team netted a dominant 7-0 victory over Gulf South Conference foe Shorter at home on Friday night in the team's first GSC match of the year.
AUM moves to 4-2 on the year with a 1-0 record in conference action. Shorter, meanwhile, remains winless at 0-6 with an 0-3 mark in GSC play.
The Warhawks saw little resistance against Shorter at the AUM Tennis complex. The Warhawks got wins in the second and first flights to earn the doubles point, then won the first three singles competitions to clinch the victory.
