SEARCY, Ark. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team defeated No. 43 Harding in a road non-conference bout to win their second consecutive match on the road after beating the Bisons 4-3.
The Warhawks were not able to get off on the right foot to start doubles play against Harding. AUM fell behind early in the match after failing to secure the doubles point.
The Warhawks, however, were able to rebound despite falling down 3-1 in singles play. Wins from
David Rieme and
David Mulas tied the match at three, with the final point being decided in the fifth flight.
After splitting the first two games against Bryce Walker,
Jonathan Judy-Hansen took a commanding 6-2 win in the third set to give the Warhawks their 4-3 win.
