CARROLLTON, Ga. – The 14
th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team continued their hot start to the season with a commanding 7-0 victory over Gulf South Conference foe West Georgia on Wednesday afternoon.
The Warhawks move to 6-2 on the year and remain perfect in Gulf South Conference play with a 2-0 record. West Georgia, meanwhile, falls to 2-5 on the year and an 0-4 mark in GSC action.
AUM started hot against the Wolves, breezing to a doubles victory after taking wins in all three courts. In singles play, wins in the sixth, fourth, and fifth flights secured the victory for the Warhawks on the road.
