MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 44
th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team knocked off Gulf South Conference foe Mississippi College 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at the AUM Tennis Complex.
The Warhawks even their record to .500 on the year at 9-9 and have now won four of their six conference matches. Mississippi College falls to 3-11 overall in 2022 with a 2-6 mark in conference action.
AUM rebounded after falling in the first doubles flight to take an early 1-0 lead over the Choctaws heading into singles play. The Warhawks were able to find singles wins in each of the singles contests to capture the 7-0 shutout.

The Warhawks will return to action on Tuesday, April 12, to take on Gulf South Conference rival Montevallo. The match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and will honor Bellio before the match as part of the senior day festivities.
