#36 AUM Falls To #5 North Georgia 6-1

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The 36th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 non-conference contest against fifth-ranked North Georgia on the road on Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks move back to .500 and now stand at 8-8 on the year, while the Nighthawks improve to 13-3 in 2022.

After dropping the contest in the second doubles flight, the pairing of Giovanni Bellio and Jonathan Judy-Hansen defeated their duo 6-2, but AUM would drop the doubles point after falling in the first flight. In singles play, Muhamad Bedwan was the lone Warhawk to win his match against #72 Ryan Gaskin.

AUM will return to action on Tuesday, April 5, when they play host to Gulf South Conference rival Montevallo. The action from the AUM Tennis Complex is set to begin at 2 p.m.
