MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The 50
th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dropped their opening match of the Gulf South Conference tournament to fourth-seeded and 31
st-ranked West Alabama 4-1 on Thursday.
The Warhawks wrap up their 2022 season with a 10-12 record and a 5-4 mark in conference play. AUM tallied a home record of 6-1 while going 3-10 on the road and a 1-1 mark in neutral site matches.
The Warhawks dropped two doubles courts to begin things against the Tigers. AUM grabbed a late singles victory from
Giovanni Bellio, but West Alabama would clinch the match a few moments later to take the 4-1 win.
