LOUSIVILLE, Ky. – Fresh off their second-consecutive Gulf South Conference championship, the Auburn University at Montgomery softball team has moved up to No. 3 in the latest edition of the NFCA national rankings.

The Warhawks will enter the NCAA tournament as the third-best team in the country for the second-straight season. AUM will host a pod of four teams for one of two NCAA south regional sites. The Warhawks will welcome Tuskegee, Nova Southeastern, and No. 24 UAH.

AUM is one of five south region teams who made the tournament who are at least receiving votes in the national polls, joining Tampa (6), Valdosta State (12), UAH (24), and Nova Southeastern who are receiving votes.

All the action from the AUM Softball Complex is set to begin on Thursday at 1 p.m. when Nova Southeastern takes on UAH. The Warhawks will open their tournament with a meeting against Tuskegee at 3:30 p.m. later that day.
