Benjamin Campi Joins AUM Tennis Coaching Staff as Graduate Assistant

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Auburn University at Montgomery head tennis coach Yair Banuelos is excited to announce the addition of Benjamin Campi to his coaching staff as a graduate assistant.

"I am grateful for the opportunity Coach Banuelos has given me," Campi said. "I am excited to join this program that has such an incredible history, and I will do my best to honor this legacy and cannot wait for us to compete for championships."

Campi joins the AUM tennis staff from the University of Nevada, where he played three seasons for the Wolfpack. Campi moved into an undergraduate assistant coaching role in the 2021-22 season and helped lead the Wolfpack to a Mountain West Conference regular season title and tournament championship.

Campi is originally from Monte Carlo, Monaco before he attended Nevada, where he earned a Business Administration with a focus in finance. He is working towards a Master of Business Administration at AUM.

Campi will work with the AUM men's and women's tennis teams as they prepare for the 2023 season. The men open play at Troy University on January 20 in exhibition action, and the women begin the season on January 27 at the University of South Alabama in an exhibition.
