TROY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team dropped two exhibition matches at NCAA Division I opponent Troy University at the Lunsford Tennis Complex on Friday night by final scores of 6-1 and 5-2.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES
- AUM's Antoine Renard and Thibault Jacq took court three with a 8-6 victory over Troy's Vito Llinares and Jules Fabre.
- AUM lost courts one and two for Troy to take the doubles point.
FIRST SERVE – SINGLES
- Muhamad Bedwan dropped the first set 5-7 and bounced back to take the second and third set 6-3 and 10-3 to clinch the only point for AUM.
- Adrian Contreras lost the first set 0-6 and rallied in the second set and won 7-5. Troy's Yeray Andres Pastor took the third set 10-8 at court four.
- The Trojans took the remaining courts in two sets to win the match 6-1.
SECOND MATCH
Final Score: AUM 2, Troy 5
FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES
- Bedwan and Giuseppe Bonaiuti took court two in doubles action by a final score 7-6.
- The Trojans won at courts one and three to take the lone doubles point.
FIRST SERVE – SINGLES
- Bonaiuti carried his momentum from doubles into singles play by winning at court three in three sets. He defeated Fabre 7-6, 1-6, and 10-5.
- Titouan Le Maout won court five in three sets against Andres. Le Maout took the first set 6-3 and lost the second set 2-6 but managed to bounce back and take the third set 10-8.
- Troy found victories at courts one, two, four, and six to clinch the match 5-2.
UP NEXT
AUM returns to the tennis court on Saturday, January 28 in their final exhibition match at Alabama State University. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
