  • Shorter rattled off 10 straight points, capped by a pair of Mark Wilcox free throws with 2:19 to play, to trim the Warhawks' lead to seven.
  • The Warhawks led by 17 points on three different occasions in the second half, including 86-69 with 4:21 left to play.
  • Jalen Gaston hit a driving layup and the ensuing free throw to finish a three-point play and led 91-81 with 1:11 to go.
  • Shorter closed out the final four minutes on a 17-8 spurt, but it was too little too late for the Hawks as AUM hit free throws late to put the game out of reach.
