CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team dropped a Gulf South Conference game at Delta State University by a final score of 72-64 on Saturday afternoon inside Walter Sillers Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

HIGHLIGHTS
- AUM started the game off with two made three-pointers from Kamya Hollingshed and Allasha Dudley to take a 6-2 lead early in the first quarter.
- Jordyn Maddix made two free-throws to end the first quarter which gave the Warhawks a 22-14 lead.
- Dudley made a shot from the charity stripe at the 3:53 mark in the second quarter to give AUM their largest lead of the contest at 37-25.
- Delta State used a 12-0 run in the third quarter to take a 50-45 lead at the 2:43 mark in the third quarter.
- Derienne Black made a jumper at the 9:31 mark in fourth quarter to put AUM up 54-51. The Lady Statesmen responded with three made baskets to go up 57-54 with 7:16 left in the game.
- Delta State used a 12-2 run in the final 3:15 minutes of the game to clinch the 72-64 victory over AUM.
NOTABLES
- Dudley led the Warhawks with 22 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field. She went 8-of-10 from the free-throw line.
- Jemeriah Moore scored eight points and brought down nine rebounds.
- Delta State outrebounded AUM 36-25 and scored 34 points in the paint, compared to AUM's 20 points.
- The Warhawks shot 89.5 percent from the free-throw line going 17-of-19.
- Auburn Montgomery was outscored 41-24 in the second half.
