MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team used two second-half goals, including the game-winning goal from Lauren Akemon in the 87th minute, to get back in the win column on Friday night in Gulf South Conference action.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lady Bucs struck first on a 12th-minute screamer to take a 1-0 lead.
- Lauren Akemon, Sydney Garth, and Avery Moody teamed up to tie the match in the 36th minute. Akemon dribbled up the near side of the field and played a cross to Garth, who navigated right of goal and found the right foot of Avery Moody to make it 1-1.
- AUM found its first lead post-intermission as Anila Mantello poked home a long free kick Maggie Flanagan in the 61st minute.
- One minute later, Christian Brothers found the tying goal.
- In the 87th minute, the Warhawks tallied the game-winning goal as Reia Henry played a long ball to Moody, who crossed a pass toward the far post that was slotted into the back of the net by Lauren Akemon.

- Karla Guzman-Ortiz made one save in goal and picked up her second win of the season.
- Akemon tallied her first career game-winning goal for the black and orange.

- "It was a great win for the girls, especially after battling hard for 90 minutes," said head coach Julianne Herrity. "Super proud of them for the fight they put up on the road, and proud of our efforts to finally put away our chances."
