JACKSON, Tenn. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's soccer team suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Union (Tenn.) University to close out the final road trip of the regular season on Sunday afternoon at the Smith Memorial Soccer Complex.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Lady Bulldogs tested the Warhawks early, but Karla Guzman-Ortiz saved a pair of shots to keep the match scoreless in the opening five minutes.
- Guzman-Ortiz added her third save in the 31st minute, and both teams played the opening 45 minutes to a scoreless draw.
- The home team struck for the first goal of the match in the 47th minute as the Lady Bulldogs secured a lead.
- Shots from Sydney Garth (63rd minute) and Lauren Akemon (85th minute) were unable to find the back of the net and Union put up its fifth shutout in GSC play.
