MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Auburn University at Montgomery volleyball team swept Christian Brothers University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Memphis, Tennessee in the final Gulf South Conference regular season matchup.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Christian Brothers came out of the gate with a 4-0 lead and held the lead until Greta Corrente posted a kill that was followed by two errors on CBU. AUM found their first lead in set one at 11-10. Kendall McCain and Myllena Torquetti had kills late in the set that would help spark the Warhawks to the finish line in the set. Savannah Sebek served an ace and AUM took a 1-0 lead in the match.
- AUM trailed 3-0 in set two, but a six-point rally led by two kilsl from Giulia Santuari gave the Warhawks a 6-3 lead. After trading points, AUM took advantage of four errors on the Bucs and gained some momentum. Ruth Sconocchini found a kill and gave AUM a 17-14 lead. The Warhawks only allowed CBU to score three more points and a service ace from Corrente pushed AUM on top 2-0 in the match.
- Set three was dominated by Auburn Montgomery. Kyla Ffrench and Santuari posted kills early in the set. Emily Brown found back-to-back service aces to give AUM a 8-3 lead. Campbell Gash got in the mix and served a pair of aces and put the Warhawks in front 12-4. Maya Thompson finished the set with a kill and AUM earned the 25-8 victory in set three and clinched the match 3-0.
STATS OF THE MATCH
- AUM's 23 wins are the most in program history. The Warhawks reached 17 wins in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
- Santuari tallied 10 kills on 23 total attacks. She has had double-digit kills in eight games this season and it was her third in a row. She also had four block assists.
- Sebek had a double-double with 10 digs and 13 assists.
- The Warhawks had eight service aces as a team, with Corrente leading with three.
