CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball three-game win streak came to an end on Friday evening inside Walter Sillers Coliseum as Delta State University won 53-42 in a Gulf South Conference game.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Warhawks jumped out to a 6-0 lead when Danielle Luckey scored the opening basket of the game. It was followed by layups from Jamya Tyus and Grace O'Gara. DSU quickly erased that AUM lead with back-to-back three-pointers.
- Brianna Sanchez scored on a jumper in the paint to push AUM back in front. O'Gara sank a pair of free throws and DSU's Lacy Whitcomb connected on a jumpshot as the Warhawks ended the first quarter leading 15-13.
- Delta State took a 24-17 lead at the 5:38 mark in the second quarter and AUM snatched it back with a pair of three-pointers from Gabby Litvak and a jumpshot from Sanchez.
- The Lady Statesmen took a 26-25 lead into the halftime break.
- The two teams scored 11 points each in the third quarter and the Warhawks trailed 37-36.
- AUM did not trail by more than four points until the 1:53 mark as Delta State ended the game with a 9-0 run and earned the 53-42 victory.
NOTABLES
- Dudley led AUM with nine points and was 3-of-9 from the floor. She gathered five rebounds and had an assist.
- Luckey scored eight points, seven rebounds, and a pair of steals.
- AUM shot the ball 29 percent going 14-of-47 from the field. They connected on five shots from beyond the arc.
