ROME, Ga. – The 17th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis squad won on every court en route to the 7-0 victory over Shorter University on Thursday afternoon at the Walt Attaway Tennis Complex in Rome, Georgia in AUM's first Gulf South Conference match of the season.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

• Estefania Garcia and Regina Urbiola won 6-1 over Shorter's Andrea Medel and Sharrick Guiza at the first court. 
• Court two was played against AUM's Melissa Yakup Pour and Ane Ibarra and Shorter's Sydney Wright and Jessica Brown. The Warhawks got the 6-0 win. 
• Isabella Pinto and Nahia Izco battled Emma Novis and Amelie Fryer at court three and the AUM duo earned the 6-0 victory.  

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Garcia played at the first court and took down Medel 6-3, 6-0. 
• Yakup Pour was at court two and blanked Guiza 6-0, 6-0. 
• Urbiola and Novis played on court three and Urbiola won 6-1, 6-1. 
• Izco played against Wright at court four and earned the 6-1, 6-1 win.
• Ibarra won against Brown 6-1, 6-0 at the fifth court. 
• Pinto and Fryer played on the final court and Pinto won 6-1, 6-1 for the final point for the Warhawks.
