ROME, Ga. – The 17th-ranked Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis squad won on every court en route to the 7-0 victory over Shorter University on Thursday afternoon at the Walt Attaway Tennis Complex in Rome, Georgia in AUM's first Gulf South Conference match of the season.

- Garcia played at the first court and took down Medel 6-3, 6-0.
- Yakup Pour was at court two and blanked Guiza 6-0, 6-0.
- Urbiola and Novis played on court three and Urbiola won 6-1, 6-1.
- Izco played against Wright at court four and earned the 6-1, 6-1 win.
- Ibarra won against Brown 6-1, 6-0 at the fifth court.
- Pinto and Fryer played on the final court and Pinto won 6-1, 6-1 for the final point for the Warhawks.

AUM will host Columbus State on Tuesday, February 28 at the AUM Tennis Complex in a nonconference match.
