MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Molly Cobb was named Warhawk of the Week based on her performance against Christian Brothers University this past weekend.
The Trussville, Alabama native had a batting average of .888 going 8-of-9 from the plate. She drove in six runs and crossed home plate four times herself.
Cobb connected on a homer and a double this weekend. She was walked once and stole a base.
The Warhawk of the Week award is a weekly honor on
AUMathletics.com that is presented to one male or female student-athlete for their athletic achievements from the previous week.
Cobb and the rest of the AUM softball team plays at Shorter University on Tuesday, February 21 at 2 p.m. in a doubleheader. The games will not be Gulf South Conference matchups.
