MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team makes the program's 36th postseason appearance all-time after they secured a 101-95 win on Senior Night over the University of Montevallo.
The Warhawks, who finished the regular season 15-13 overall and 13-11 in league play, are the tournament's sixth seed and clash with third-seeded Lee University on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. Central Time in Cleveland, Tenn.

WARHAWKS HEADLINES
- The Warhawks average 37.7 rebounds per game, which ranks second in the GSC, and James Graham leads the way with 8.1 rebounds per game. He has posted a double-double in seven of his last 13 games, including a season-high 17 rebounds against Montevallo on Senior Day. Roderick Smith ranks second on the team averaging 6.3 boards, Jalen Gaston ranks third averaging 4.9 rebounds, and Joseph Lanzi ranks fourth on the squad clearing 4.2 boards per game.
- Travis Anderson scores 14.3 points per game and leads five players averaging double-digit points for the Warhawks. His scoring average ranks 14th in the GSC. He has scored 23 or more points five times this season and also ranks third in the GSC in assists (4.1) and sixth in the league in minutes played (34.9).
- James Graham, who averages 12.9 points and 8.1 rebounds, leads the league in blocks (58) and blocks per game (2.1). His rebounding mark puts him third in the GSC, and his 56 percent field goal percentage is second-best in the league.
- Head coach Michael Cheaney collected his 100th win at the helm of AUM in a win over West Florida. Cheaney is in his ninth season at the helm of AUM. This season, he has helped lead the black and orange to 15 wins, which is the second-highest win total for the program since a 17-win 2015-16 season.
- The Warhawks have relied heavily on an infusion of scoring by new players on the roster. Newcomers this season account for 48.8 percent of AUM's scoring, or 1,059 of 2,168 points. The team's leading scorer, at 14.3 points per contest, is Anderson. Gaston is second on the squad at 13.1 points per game, and transfer wing Joe Lanzi is fifth on the team in scoring at 11.9 points per contest.
FIVE ON THE FLAMES
- Jayce Willingham (16.0 points per game) leads three Flames players averaging double-digit points on the year. PJay Smith (15.7) and Beyuan Hendricks (12.4) join Willingham in pacing Lee's offense.
- The Flames are the second-leading scoring defense (65.4 points per game) in the GSC and also rank first in opposing field goal percentage (42.1 percent).
- In addition to his 15.7 points per game, Smith adds 6.1 rebounds (best on the team), 3.7 assists, and a team-leading 1.7 steals per game
- Lee also leads the GSC in hitting its three-point shots, as the Flames hit 38.9 percent of their three-point attempts.
- The Flames ride a five-game winning streak into the GSC Super Tuesday matchup and boast an 11-2 record at Paul Dana Walker Arena.
