JACKSON, Tenn. – The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team trailed 3-0 against Union University and scored six runs in the final four innings to secure the 6-3 victory at the USJ Softball Field in a Gulf South Conference game.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Union struck first in the second inning with a two-run homer from Mackenzi David.
- Union added to the lead with a solo homer from Macey Neal in the bottom of the third inning.
- Shelby Edgeworth scored when Olivia Aycock drew a bases-loaded walk and the Warhawks cut the lead to 3-1 in the fourth frame.
- Lexi Love reached on an error and scored three runs for AUM to take a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning.
- Allie Miller knocked in an RBI double to left field in the sixth inning that scored Chloe Baynes to push the lead to 5-3.
- Faith Wheat reached on an error and pushed Lexie Bullock across home plate to give AUM the final run of the game.
- AUM held on defensively in the bottom of the seventh as the Lady Bulldogs flew out, lined out, and grounded out to close the game.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Morgan Ferguson (W, 5-3) worked the complete seven-inning game and gave up three runs on four hits. She picked up four strikeouts and walked two batters.
