MONTGOMERY, Ala.. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team took 17th-ranked University of North Georgia to the wire, but falling just short 4-3 in the nonconference match at the AUM Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.

- Court one went to the sixth-ranked singles player in the country in Benoit as he defeated Guariente 6-3, 6-1.
- Bonaiuti fell at the second court in a battle against Ostap. Bonaiuti won the first set 6-3, but lost the next two sets 7-6.
- Bedwan won his match at the third court 6-1, 6-1 over Christopher Cahour.
- Brainard defeated Contreras 7-5, 6-2 at court four.
- Le Maout defeated Eldin 6-4 in the first set and won 7-6 in the second set at the fifth court.
- Jacq came on the short end against Sassi 6-2, 6-4 at court six.

AUM will host the seventh ranked team in the country in the University of Texas at Tyler on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the AUM Tennis Complex.
