MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team handled the University of Montevallo 11-3 in five innings on Sunday afternoon at the AUM Softball Complex by scoring nine runs in the fifth inning en route to the Gulf South Conference victory.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Kat Fallen knocked a RBI single up the middle to score Chloe Baynes in the first inning.
- Montevallo took a 3-1 lead in the second inning after a bases-loaded walk and a two RBI single from Shelby Sloan.
- Fallen registered a RBI double and scored Allie Miller and made it 3-2 in the third inning.
- AUM got the fifth inning started with a bases loaded walk to tie the game up at three a piece.
- Faith Wheat earned a two RBI single that gave AUM a 5-3 lead.
- Lexi Love tallied a homer to left center field that scored three runs and the Warhawks extended the score to a 8-3 lead.
- Fallen had her third hit of the day with a two RBI double and it was followed by Gia Martin tallying a single that scored Fallen for the final run of the day.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Sydni Free (W, 5-4) went five complete innings and allowed one three runs on one hit. She struck four batters out on the day.
NOTABLES
- Miller extended her hitting and reaching base streak to 14 games.
- Fallen had her eighth game with multiple runs batted in with four today.
- Lexi Love batted in three runs off her fifth home run of the season.
