MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 30 Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team picked up a victory over fifth-ranked University of West Alabama on Thursday afternoon in a Gulf South Conference matchup at the AUM Tennis Complex.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

• Titouan Le Maout and Joao Guariente dropped the first court against the fifth-ranked doubles team in Lucas Hammond and Marcel Hornung 6-4. 
• Muhamad Bedwan and Adrian Contreras fell at the second court against Ilari Vesanen and Ilia Dehodiuk 6-4 and the Tigers claimed the doubles point. 
• AUM's Thibault Jacq and Giuseppe Bonaiuti won at the third doubles court 7-6 (7-4) against Wilson Igbinovia and Nuutti Jokinen. 

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Le Maout handled Hammond at the fifth court in singles action 6-4, 6-3 to give the Warhawks momentum and even the match at 1-1. 
• Jacq earned a three-set victory over Dehodiuk 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 at the sixth court to push AUM in front 2-1. 
• Bedwan carried momentum at the second court and earned a 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (8-6) victory over Jokinen to give the Warhawks a 3-1 advantage. 
• Contreras clinched the victoryo for Auburn Montgomery at the fourth court with a 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Loic Danze. 
• Guariente gave the Orange & Black another point on the first court after he knocked off Vesanen 4-6, 6-1, 7-5. 
• Igbinovia defeated Bonaiuti 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 on court three but it would not be enough as AUM earned the 5-2 victory over the Tigers.
