MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis player Ana Villalvazo has been named Warhawk of the Week for her performance against Valdosta State University last week.

The Chiapas, Mexico native won court four over the Blazers' Anastasiia Vorobiova in three sets. She took the first set 6-4 and dropped the second set 5-7. She battled back to win the third set 6-4 and helped the Warhawks win 4-3 over Valdosta State. 

The Warhawk of the Week award is a weekly honor on AUMathletics.com that is presented to one male or female student-athlete for their athletic achievements from the previous week.
 
Villalvazo and the Warhawks return to action on Wednesday, April 12 at the University of Montevallo for a Gulf South Conference match at 2 p.m.
