MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The No. 2 seed Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis team earned a 4-1 victory over the No. 7 seed University of Montevallo on Thursday afternoon at the O'Connor Tennis Center to advance to the Gulf South Conference semifinals for the third season in a row.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

•  Montevallo's Lieselotte Hartlohner and Greta Vagnini won court three over Melissa Yakup Pour and Nahia Izco 6-0.
• AUM's Regina Urbiola and Estefania Garcia took down Cyba Ozzor and Mireia 6-3 to even the doubles courts at 1-1. 
• The Falcons clinched the doubles point when Eva Dirr and Erika Freire defeated Sofia Neri and Ane Ibarra 6-4. 

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Ibarra moves to 14-0 in singles action as she took down Vagnini 6-0, 6-3 on court six to even the match score at 1-1.
• Garcia earned a victory on the first court 7-5, 6-3 over Turro to give the Warhawks a 2-1 lead. 
• Ana Villalvazo handled Hartlohner 6-2, 6-3 on court four to push the AUM lead to 3-1. 
• Urbiola clinched the match over Ozzor 7-6 (7-4), 6-0 to give Auburn Montgomery the 4-1 victory and their 18th victory of the season.
