MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team took down No. 13 Valdosta State University on Sunday afternoon 5-1 to complete the Gulf South Conference series and finish the regular season 17-0 at the AUM Softball Complex.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Jasmin Stewart scored the first run of the day off a solo home run to give VSU a 1-0 lead in the second inning.
- Kat Fallen reached base on a fielder's choice that brought Allie Miller home to tie the game at one in the fourth frame.
- Chloe Baynes tallied a single down the left field line and scored Faith Wheat to give the Warhawks a 2-1 advantage.
- Chloe Derrick blasted her 11th homer of the season in the bottom of the sixth inning that scored Fallen and Haley Ann Frank to give AUM the 5-1 lead.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Avery Dickerson (W, 13-4) earned the win going 5.1 frames and allowing one run on two hits. She struck three batters out.
- Alanna Goble (S, 1) earned the save in relief tossing 1.2 innings and giving up one hit, while recording two strikeouts.
NOTABLES
- Baynes has extended her hitting streak to 11 games.
- Fallen has reached base in 17 consecutive games and Baynes has reached base in 16 straight games.
