MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Spring Hill College Badgers scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back en route to a 13-2 run-rule victory over the Auburn University at Montgomery baseball team on Tuesday night in the regular season home finale for the Warhawks.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The visitors used a bases-loaded walk and three singles to plate six runs in the top of the first inning and take control of the game.
- A three-spot in the third inning pushed the score to 9-0, and a sacrifice fly by the visitors made it 10-0 Badgers.
- Brett Pitts put the Warhawks on the board in the last f the fourth inning with a two-run double.
- Single runs in the top of the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings pushed Spring Hill to victory.
ON THE MOUND
- Cole Kehoe earned the midweek start for the Warhawks, his first of the season.
- Michael Myers made his team-leading 16th relief appearance and pitched 1.2 innings.
- Tommy Vickers allowed a run on one hit with one walk and two strikeouts in 2.0 frames of relief.
- Will Collins gave up an earned run with a strikeout in one inning, and Lucas Baggett allowed a single run with a strikeout in two innings of work.
UP NEXT
The Warhawks hit the road to Huntsville, Alabama to visit the University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers for a Friday-Saturday series. Game one will be on Friday night, April 28, at 5 p.m., with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 29 beginning at 1 p.m.
