MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 22 Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team took the doubles point from No. 2 Valdosta State University and then dropped the match 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the AUM Tennis Complex in a Gulf South Conference match.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

• Thibault Jacq and Titouan Le Maout earned a win on the third court against Valdosta State's Christian Wedel and Pedro Cordejro 6-3. 
• Giuseppe Bonaiuti and Joao Guariente fell to Rodrigo Carvalho and Luca Mack 6-4. 
• AUM clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 victory on the second court with Muhamad Bedwan and Adrian Contreras defeating Edward Etty and Christian Felline. 

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Jacq dropped his match at the sixth court 6-3, 6-0 against Cordeiro. 
• Bedwan was defeated 6-3, 6-3 on court two against Carvalho to extend the lead to 3-0. 
• Contreras fell at the fourth court against Felline and the Blazers clinched the match with his 6-1, 7-5 victory. 
• Court one went to Mack as he took down Guariente 6-2, 6-3. 
• Le Maout came up short against Etty 7-6, 6-7, 1-6 over on the fifth court. 
• Bonaiuti took a loss against Wedel 7-6, 0-6, 3-6 and VSU won the match 6-1.
