SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team was defeated 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in the NCAA South Regional Two Championship against Nova Southeastern University at the University Softball Stadium on the campus of Saint Leo University.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Chloe Baynes and Molly Cobb got AUM started off with two early hits in the opening inning, but a lineout ended the frame.
- A walk and a hit-by-pitch put two NSU runners on base and then a single from Samantha Burke scored Tia Williams and the Sharks took a 1-0 lead.
- Cobb tallied the final Warhawks hit of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning. Shelby Edgeworth was brought in as a pinch-runner and made it to third base, but a fly out ended the inning.
- Neither team could plate a run for remainder of the game as the Sharks advanced to NCAA South Super Regional.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Avery Dickerson (L, 15-6) tossed a complete seven inning game and gave up one earned run on four hits. She walked one batter and struck one out.
NOTABLES
- Cobb ends the season on a streak of reaching base in eight consecutive games.
- Dickerson tossed her 16th complete game of the season.
