MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Ruth Sconocchini and
Kaleigh Fitzgerald were named to the 2023 Warhawk All-Invitational Team after leading the Auburn University at Montgomery volleyball team to a 3-0 record this past weekend.
Fitzgerald led AUM on the defensive side with 22 digs in the three matches. The senior posted four service aces over the weekend in eight sets.
Sconocchini had a monster weekend with 35 kills on 71 total attacks. The freshman played in all nine sets and also had a pair of service aces. Defensively, she picked up nine digs and three block assists.
The Warhawks are back in action on Tuesday, September 19 against Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi at the A.E. Wood Coliseum to open Gulf South Conference action.
