Joseph Lanzi and
Jalen Gaston scored 18 points each and
Travis Anderson joined them in double figures with 17 points, but it was not enough as the Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team fell 96-83 to the University of Alabama in Huntsville on Monday night in the Rocket City.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Jumpers from Joe Lanzi, Malachi Rhodes, and Deven Tucker gave AUM a 6-2 three minutes into the game.
- UAH responded with a 21-0 run to build a 23-6 lead at the 12:16 mark of the first half.
- AUM used a 13-3 run, capped by an Anderson three-pointer and a Gaston layup, to trim the lead to 30-28 with 5:14 to play in the opening half.
- The Chargers nailed four three-pointers to finish the half with a 52-32 lead.
- Leading 61-41 with 16:02 to play, the Warhawks got an eight-point spurt from Anderson and a pair of buckets by Rhodes as part of a 12-3 surge to cut the Huntsville lead to 11.
- A Sam Youngblood three with just under 11 minutes to play made it a 10-point game, but the Chargers held off the Warhawks the rest of the way to secure the GSC victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Chargers out-rebounded AUM 36-30 and also outscored the Warhawks in the paint 34-24.
- UAH won the turnover battle (18-14), the points off turnovers battle (20-18), and bested AUM 18-7 in second-chance points.
- Jack Kostel scored 24 points to lead all scorers for the Chargers.
- AUM hit 13 three-pointers for the second time in its last three games. The game also marked the fifth of the year in which AUM has hit double-digit three-pointers.
- Gaston scored in double figures for the eighth straight game.
