Joseph Lanzi, the Auburn University at Montgomery men's basketball team took down Shorter University 100-80 to win its second consecutive game in Gulf South Conference action.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Down 21-14 at the 12:06 mark of the first half, the Warhawks closed the first half with a 32-15 advantage to lead 46-36 at the break.
- Three-pointers from Anderson and Lanzi helped AUM push the lead to 21 points, 63-42, with 14:28 to play.
- The Hawks, however, had a run of their own in them to soar back into the game.
- Shorter used an 11-0 sprint to pull within 10 points over the next two minutes, which was part of a 16-0 run to the 10:39 mark of the second half to make it a five-point game.
- Free throws from Malachi Rhodes and back-to-back three-pointers from Anderson immediately ballooned the lead back to 13, and the Warhawks never looked back in topping the century mark for the first time this season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Warhawks committed just nine turnovers in the game and scored 31 points off 16 Shorter turnovers.
- AUM out-rebounded its opponent for the eighth time this season, with a 35-21 edge on the glass.
- 12 steals by the Warhawks marked the 12th time this season they tallied double-digit steals.
- For the sixth time in the last eight games, AUM made double-digit three-point field goals as a team.
- Anderson put up his second career 30-point game, finishing with 31 points and six assists on 11-of-19 shooting. Anderson went 7-of-12 from three-point territory.
- Lanzi posted the second 20-point effort of his season and the fourth of his career in orange and black.
- 13 different Warhawks scored at least two points in the contest, and Jamarious Martin totaled the first two points of his collegiate career.
