NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The AUM women's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 loss on the road against Trevecca Nazarene at the Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday. The Trojans won with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 25-5.
AUM hit .117 as it moved to 4-13 overall and 1-7 in Gulf South Conference play.
The Warhawks were led on offense by
Maya Thompson with 12 kills, followed by
Greta Corrente with nine and
Kendall McCain with eight. Defensively, McCain had three blocks and
Savannah Sebek had 11 digs.
TNU hit .372 and got 14 kills from Emma Titus. The Trojans improved to 8-11 on the season and 5-3 in the GSC.
The Warhawks will return home for their next two contests, facing Montevallo on Thursday and Alabama Huntsville on Friday. Both matches will begin at 6 p.m. at the AUM Athletics Complex.
