PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Allasha Dudley sank a long three-pointer with 28 seconds left in the game sent the Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team past the University of West Florida 64-61 in a Gulf South Conference battle inside the UWF Field House on Monday night.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Grace O'Gara got the game started with a reverse layup just over 40 seconds into the competition.
- The two teams exchanged leads during the first quarter, but the Warhawks took a 13-10 lead entering the second quarter of action.
- West Florida's offense picked up in the second quarter as they closed the half with an 8-3 run that gave them a 30-29 lead at the intermission.
- Danielle Luckey sank a layup at the 8:01 mark in the third quarter to regain the lead for AUM at 34-32.
- Allasha Dudley buried a triple to extend the Warhawk lead to 39-33 with 6:16 left in the third quarter, but the Argos held AUM from escaping them as they kept the score close ending the quarter. The Warhawks took a slight 50-47 lead after three quarters.
- West Florida stormed back and took a 52-50 lead with 8:04 left in the game. AUM weathered the storm and stayed within striking distance of the Argos.
- Tian Addison tied the game up at 59-59 with a three-pointer with just under two minutes to go in the game.
- The following possession the Pensacola, Florida native Danielle Luckey sank back-to-back free throws to give AUM a 61-59 lead with 1:10 left on the clock.
- West Florida tied the game back up at 61-61, but Dudley connected on a long three-pointer to give AUM the lead and the defense held on to escape the UWF Field House with a 64-61 victory.
NOTABLES
- The victory is Jon Plefka's 100th career victory. He won 84 games at Post University and has added 16 victories in his first season as the AUM head coach.
- Dudley scored 20 points and grabbed four rebounds.
- Luckey scored 17 points and gathered 12 boards to secure her ninth double-double this season.
- Addison tallied 12 points and made four three-pointers.
- O'Gara chipped in with nine points, along with a handful of rebounds.
