PLAYOFF PREVIEW: Women's Basketball Set to Host Super Tuesday Against West Florida

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team has earned the No. 4 seed in the Gulf South Conference Championships and will host the No. 5 seed University of West Florida on Tuesday, March 5 at 5:30 p.m. inside the AUM Athletics Complex. 

The first 400 students at the game will receive free Chick-Fil-A. During halftime of the game, students will have the opportunity to win a Keurig coffee maker and an air fryer.

  • Admission will be free courtesy of Auburn University at Montgomery for the GSC quarterfinal on Tuesday night. 
  • The GSC semifinal and championship game will be played at Samford University and tickets can be purchased HERE! 
GSC IN THE NCAA SOUTH REGION
  • The NCAA released the second batch of regional rankings last Wednesday and the Warhawks were ranked No. 7. 
  • Valdosta State University (No. 1), Union University (No. 2), and Lee University (No. 6) are also ranked.
FIVE ON THE WARHAWKS
  • AUM is set to play in the GSC Tournament for the first time in program history. They own a 19-9 overall record and earned the No. 4 seed by going 17-7 in the GSC. 
  • Allasha Dudley is second in the GSC in points per game at 17.7. She has scored double-digits in 22 games this season. Her season-high came at Nova Southeastern University where she scored 39 points. Dudley finished the regular season with 495 points scored and is up to 1,139 in her career. 
  • Danielle Luckey leads the GSC in rebounds per game at 9.6. She has posted 11 double-doubles this season and secured a season-high of 18 rebounds at Union University. 
  • Tian Addison finished the regular season averaging 12.8 points per game, which is sixth best in the GSC. Addison has scored 306 points this season. 
  • Brianna Sanchez is eighth in the GSC in rebounds per game at 6.2. 
FIVE ON THE ARGOS
  • West Florida brings in a 16-12 overall record and they finished 13-11 in the GSC, taking the No. 5 seed. 
  • The Argos have the third best offense in the Gulf South averaging 68.2 points per game. Brooke Kane is fifth in the GSC in points per game at 13.1. 
  • West Florida's defense has been solid all season as they have given up 60.6 points per game, which is third best in the conference. Claire Sutherland-Case leads the GSC in blocks per game at 2.3. 
  • West Florida leads the conference in rebounds at 41.3 per game. Sutherland-Case is sixth in the GSC in rebounds per game at 6.7 and Kane is ninth at 6.1 per game. 
  • Moriah Taylor is averaging 2.8 assists per game, which ranks her 12th in the GSC in assists per game.
