BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team fell in the Gulf South Conference semifinals 79-55 against the No. 1 overall seed Valdosta State University on Saturday afternoon at the Pete Hanna Center.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Allasha Dudley scored a layup three minutes into the game and pushed AUM ahead 8-4 in the early stages of the game.
- Dudley connected on a deep three-pointer as time expired in the first quarter to give AUM a 20-18 lead after the first quarter.
- VSU went on a 17-0 run to take a 35-20 lead in the second quarter.
- The Lady Blazers grew the lead to 22 points in the third quarter at 55-33.
- Jamya Tyus made a fastbreak layup to trim the lead down to 15 points midway into the fourth quarter, but the Warhawks could not cut into it anymore as VSU advanced to the GSC Championship game.
NOTABLES
- Grace O'Gara scored 17 points and made four three-pointers. She finished the GSC Tournament averaging 22.5 points per game.
- Dudley scored 16 points and went 4-for-4 from the charity stripe and she gathered three rebounds.
- Tyus went for 10 points.
- Brianna Sanchez led AUM in rebounds with six. The Warhawks were outrebounded by the Lady Blazers 46-21.

AUM will learn on Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. if they will earn an at-large bid in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
