VALDOSTA, Ga. - The No. 24 Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 defeat on Wednesday afternoon at the VSU Tennis Courts against No. 3 Valdosta State University in a Gulf South Conference match.

- VSU took a quick 2-0 lead in the game as Verdasco fell to Jerome Iaaconi 6-1, 6-0 on the fifth court.
- Marquez took a loss against Skerbatis 6-1, 6-2 on the sixth court as the Blazers went up 3-0.
- Guariente dropped the first court 6-4, 6-2 against Mack as Valdosta State clinched the match.
- Taco took down Contreras 7-5, 6-4 on the third court.
- Le Maout and Wedel went to three sets, but Wedel came out on top with a 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 victory.
- Bonaiuti had a tough match against Skierkier where he took set one 7-5, but dropped the final two sets 6-3, 1-0 as Skierkier earned the win.
