Montgomery, AL. - The No. 24 Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team defeated University of Montevallo with a final score of 6-1 on Friday afternoon at AUM Tennis Complex on Senior Day. Seniors Joao Guariente and Titouan Le Maout were honored before the match began.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

• Joao Guariente and Giuseppe Bonaiuti took a 6-1 win on court two against Sam Parsons and Gabriel Variano. 
• Adrian Contreras and Titouan Le Maout took the doubles point for the Warhawks on court three with a 6-3 victory over Philippe Zehender and Simon Luigs.
• Alex Verdasco and Agustin Marquez got things started on court one taking a 6-3 win against Samuel Maia and Leonidas Lazarides.

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Bonaiuti took down Zehender 6-4, 6-1 on the second court.
• Contreras earned a 6-3, 7-6 victory over Maia on court three.
• On court one, Guariente helped the Warhawks take a 2-0 lead with a 6-4, 6-1 win against Lazarides.
• Le Maout and Vittorio Noli went to three sets, but Le Maout took a 5-7, 6-4, 10-4 victory on court four. 
• Verdasco picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win against Luigs on court five. 
• Marquez took a loss against Ryota Nakajima on the sixth court with a final score of 2-6, 5-7.

AUM will travel to Milledgeville, Ga. to face off against Peach Belt Conference team Georgia College on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m.
