Women's Tennis Holds No. 7 in NCAA South Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Auburn University at Montgomery women's tennis program is the seventh ranked team in the NCAA South Region in the second batch of rankings provided by the NCAA. 

The Warhawks finished the regular season with a 16-5 record overall and 8-2 in Gulf South Conference matches. They have a record of 6-2 at the AUM Tennis Complex while holding a 8-2 record away from home. The Warhawks are 5-5 against ranked opponents highlighted by a win over eighth-ranked Saint Leo University and tenth-ranked University of West Florida.

The Warhawks finished up the regular season picking up a 4-3 victory over No. 50 Georgia College. The Warhawks will be competing in the Gulf South Conference tournament against University of Montevallo on Saturday, April 27 at 2:30 p.m. in Montgomery, Alabama at Lagoon Park.
