MANAGER'S CORNER
- "Disappointed in our approach to the game this weekend," said head coach Franklin Bush. "We let some outcomes affect our emotions and that took us out of some at-bats and innings. We have to find more maturity in those moments and compete at a higher level. We will work on those things this week as we prepare to compete for a championship. Our goal will always be to get better every single day. We knew if we did that, we would have an opportunity to compete for a championship in May. Here we are. Let's get better and go compete."
NOTABLES
- The Warhawks secured 30 victories in a season for only the second time since joining the ranks of NCAA Division II. It's the 25th 30-plus win season in program history for AUM.
- Kasey Clark (single) and RH Frankland (single) extended their team-best reached base streaks to 21 consecutive games in game one. Clark kept his streak alive with a walk in game two to make it 22 straight games he has reached base.
- Jarren Wright collected the only multi-hit game for AUM in the front half of the doubleheader.
- Rooks, Doughman, and Dew were the only three Warhawks to collect a hit in game two of the doubleheader.
