MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The No. 3 seed Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team fell to the No. 6 seed University of West Alabama in a thrilling 3-4 finish at Lagoon Park on Saturday afternoon.

FIRST SERVE – DOUBLES 

• On the first court, Agustin Marquez and Alex Verdasco fell 6-4 against Lucas Hammond and Jacob Tapia. 
• Joao Guariente and Giuseppe Bonaiuti earned a hard-fought win on the second court 6-3. 
• Titouan Le Maout and Adrian Contreras took down Caden Goldammer and Nutti Jokinen 7-6 on the thir court as AUM took the doubles point. 

FIRST SERVE – SINGLES

• Hammond took down Guariente 6-4, 6-4 on court one to even the score. 
• Contreras handled Jokinen 7-5, 6-4 on the third court to help AUM retake the 2-1 lead. 
• Le Maout earned a win on the fourth court against Eita Ishikawa 6-1, 6-4 to go up 3-1. 
• Igbinovia picked up a win on the second court 7-5, 6-3 against Bonaiuti to make it 3-2. 
• Verdasco fell in three sets against Tapia 7-6, 5-7, 5-7 on the fifth court as the Tigers evened the score at 3-3. 
• It all came down to court six, as Marquez suffered a setback against Fedrico Iturbe 6-3, 5-7, 4-6 as the Tigers clinched the match.
