MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Haley Ann Frank hit a single to center field in the top of the sixth inning to score
Chloe Baynes to help the No. 1 seed Auburn University at Montgomery softball team the 3-2 victory over the No. 5 seed Saint Leo University in an elimination game in the NCAA Division II South Region.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Kat Fallen knocked a two-RBI single to center field in the top of the first inning to score Chloe Baynes and Haley Ann Frank to allow AUM to go up 2-0.
- Saint Leo responded in the bottom of the first with Perez hitting a RBI-single up the middle to bring the score to 2-1.
- In the third inning, the Lions evened the score at 2-2 with a RBI-groundout from Coe.
- Both teams were able to get the bases loaded in the fourth inning, but neither team could grab the lead.
- Baynes hit a bunt-single in the top of the sixth. She was able to steal second base and Frank hit a single to center field and scored Baynes as AUM took a 3-2 lead.
- Saint Leo had a chance in the bottom of the seventh with a runner on at second base, but a groundout to Gia Martin closed the game.
IN THE CIRCLE
- Brinkley Yevak (W, 8-2) tossed a complete game and allowed two earned runs on nine hits. She walked four batters.
UP NEXT
The Warhawks will play the No. 4 seed Nova Southeastern University on Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m. at the AUM Softball Complex. The Warhawks have to win twice in order to advance in the NCAA Division II Softball Tournament, while the Sharks have to win once.
